Tour de France has sportsmen from all over the world continuously pushing their body to the brink and the one who displays the highest will, inner strength, athleticism ultimately wins the competition.

Lance Armstrong has won this competition a record seven times and he is considered to be one of the greatest athletes of our times. Tour de France requires you to sacrifice and face all hardships that come your way. Lance Armstrong epitomizes this. He has beaten cancer and not let it stand in his way to winning Tour de France. It was his will power and strength which became a symbol for many.

Anyone who has watched Tour de France will tell you that this competition requires a lot of hard work, endurance and will power. Lance Armstrong makes this look easy. However, it was not easy for him. He put in a lot of hard work and time to reach where he is today. He made the impossible possible. It was because of this many people across the globe were motivated to succeed in the own lives.

When Lance Armstrong started competing in Tour de France, no one expected him to excel the way he has done. He came from behind, fought and clawed his way to the front and refused to let anything stand in his way. People and fans were proud to see him standing on the podium wearing the yellow jersey which is given to the winner.

Tour de France breeds modern day heroes who inspire people like Lance Armstrong has inspired the world. Work hard, play fair and never give up is the secret to winning.
