Get rid of pimples with these simple skin care tips. Your skin is a very sensitive part of your body. You need to be gentle and wash with care, especially if you want to get rid of pimples.
Be careful that you do not wash you face with water that is too cold or too hot. Use lukewarm water with a gentle cleanser two times a day. Don't use regular soaps or bar soaps on your face because they have harsher chemicals in them. If you work out each day be sure to wash your face as soon as you are done.
Be sure you wash all of the soap off of your face and pad your face dry. Do not scrub your face because that can cause lesions in your skin which will then cause more pimples to flare up.
Don't touch your face with you hands. You probably don't even realize how often you touch your face, whether it be leaning in your hand while reading or wiping sweat off your forehead. You want to avoid touching your face as much as possible. This also applies to picking. You will not get rid of pimples by popping, picking or squeezing! Plus, if you do you may cause permanent scars.
Last, keep your face out of the sun. Of course, everyone loves a suntan. But if you need to get rid of pimples the sun won't help. It may dry them out temporarily, but they will not go away. The UV rays only dry out the outer layer of your skin and make you peel, which is far from attractive. Then afterwards your pimples just return.
