Golf swing training may mean different things to different golfers. Golf swing training can incorporate exercise tubing, a single dumbbell, a weighted medicine ball, and even a weighted club. Proper posture allows you to make the golf clib swing and protect your back. The other aspects of the golf swing take much more time and concentration because you'll be working on them while you're swinging the club. With a proper golf swing, you'll be able to enjoy and play golf the rest of your life. Remember that the range is where you work on your golf swing; the course is where you play golf.

The golf club is held in your fingers, the middle digits of the fingers, and not the palms. So on a scale of one to ten, ten being a death grip on the club, and one very loose, you want between a four and a seven. If you develop blisters, it's probably not because you?re holding the club too tightly or too loosely, but because you have a problem with the quality of your grip. In order to reach your maximum club head velocity, you need to maintain that angle as deep into your down swing as possible. When your hips are pulling, your left arm is the primary lever, and the club is the secondary lever. The centrifugal force caused by your hips will then pull your arm, which in turn pulls the club.

In my studies, I noticed that modern golf instruction shows you WHAT happens during the golf swing, but for some reason, leaves out HOW to make it work or keep it working consistently. To make matters worse, whether the instruction comes from golf books, golf magazines, golf videos, or the local professional, it seems like every instructor has a different opinion about how to fix each problem golfers experience. The most important aspect of the instruction is missing. For example, one of the most popular instruction methods in the last 15 years, the X-Factor was responsible for most of the back injuries of that era. X-Factor instruction was splashed all over the major golf magazines. And if you're paying for instruction, the instruction shouldn't hurt you or cause injuries.

If your instructor is a PGA Professional, you can be assured they're qualified to teach. PGA professionals go through an extensive training program and testing process. Today, the top PGA Tour professionals are tuned to their swing changes, and can adapt and correct their swing using special routines to keep playing and scoring well, even under tournament pressure.
