These days there are a lot of sites about online paid surveys which promises a lot of money in a very short amount of time. Well according to the dictionary a survey is a sampling or partial collection of facts, figures or opinions taken and used to appropriate or indicate what a complete collection or analysis might reveal. So all the companies out there in the world want to know how there products are faring in with their customers. And because of the evolution of internet they could get to a large demographic of people who are willing to do this. But they cannot just make people work for their benefits. That is why they pay people with cash or a variety of incentives so that people will give them honest opinions about their products. They then use the data to improve their products accordingly.

There are a couple of points you should be ready to do if you want to make some money on paid surveys. They are:
* You should have a love for it
* You should be patient
* You should be honest
* You must share your personal information

The others are self explanatory than the last one. That means you have to give out your personal information like name, address, age and other demographic information. The survey companies need these to send you the surveys that fit your profile the best. Never give out your credit card information or your social security number though. They might ask for social security number for tax purposes. Call the company and make sure they are the ones wanting the information not a third party. If anyone asks for credit card information it probably is a scam. Be very weary of that.

The next step is to sign up for a few survey companies and see how it works for you. You can get a list on the internet everywhere.

After that you have to get organized. This is the biggest and most time consuming part but if you get organized then you will be glad that you did. A few things to get prepared for the surveys are like getting a new email address especially for the surveys, book marking all the survey sites, making a time table for it, keeping the survey sites in your contact list and the list goes on.

Then you will get your first survey. Keep filling the surveys and don't forget to fill out your profiles in all the sites. This is very important because this will get you a chance to get more surveys from these sites as these will let the companies know more about you and send you the surveys accordingly.

The other important thing I to keep on filling the surveys you receive in the beginning even if it doesn't pay you. The survey companies do this to make sure you are serious about this. Then they will slowly and surely start inviting you to their focus groups and survey panels. This is where the real money lies.

It is a step by step and time consuming process. But if you are organized and become patient in it they will be more and more interested in your opinions and then pay you more for your opinions. Then they will send you more and more offer for these panels and groups.
