The 4 Necessary Traits To Get Anything You Want

There are a few necessary traits that you must have if you ever wish to get what it is you want out of life. The good news is that these traits are character traits within yourself that you can work on and develop if you do not have them already. Research has shown that every successful person has had at least these traits and these traits have helped them to create the life of their dreams. Work with these traits but don't take them to seriously. Life is to short to take anything to seriously. But do realize that the more you develop these traits within yourself the closer to success you will get and the easier creating the life of your dreams will be.

1. The first trait that you must develop within yourself is vision. Without a vision of what you want, you will never stand a chance of getting it. Makes sense right? But I am still amazed at how many people I meet who can not answer the simple question of what they want or who are unable to see past their current life situation. So many people are unable to dream bigger than a new car or comfortable life style. This is not to say that there is anything wrong with this, however, you will never get more than you ask for in life and if you only ask for little things, you will not get big things. Again, makes sense. I often like to tell people to reach for the stars and even the moon will be more than what others get. Wouldn't it be better to want a 10,000 square foot house, hundreds of acres of land, fifteen brand new sports cars, 100,000,000 dollars in the bank, and a vacation every single month to a new place in the world and only get a quarter of that than to dream smaller. I think a quarter of that would be much better than the dream of a 100,000 dollar house, a new Kia, and $2,000 in the bank with a vacation every two years and actually realizing that dream. Again, not that the last dream mentioned is bad, but the point is to aim high because you are surely going to get much more out of it even if you don't make it than if you aim low and get that.

Also be sure to be totally clear about your vision. I have also met people who dream big but are not clear at all about what they want. "Well, I want lot's of money and a new car and maybe a vacation," I often hear from people. Well how much is a lot of money exactly. What kind of a new car. New as in new to you or brand new as in off the lot and a total of six miles on the odometer. What kind of vacation? To where? For how long? These are all questions you need to ask. Just saying a lot of something is not enough. You need to be specific about what your vision is exactly. It will grow and adjust as you grow and adjust and get closer to it, possibly getting bigger or adapting to time, but the key is to be clear. When do you plan on having that. What will it look like exactly when you do have it. What will you do with it when you have it. When you do what you do with it, how will that help you get to the next level or next step. Who will help you get there. What do you need to get there. These are all important questions. A clear vision of what you want is the first important trait you must develop.

2. Create a clear, concise, and workable plan for acquiring what you want. Everyone who ever acquired everything had a plan for doing so. They may not know every single detail all the way down to the second or exactly how they were going to get to where they were going, but they knew they were going to get there and they had as much of a plan to do so as they could create. Of course, you might want a million dollars for example. Right now, you might not be able to see any possible way to make that happen. That is ok. Keep your mind on what it is you want until an opportunity comes along to create what it is you want. This is what working with the law of attraction is about. If you simply do not know, keep your eye on it and a way will be shown. When the way is shown, put a plan into place. Maybe your plan is to make an additional $100,000 this year. Right now, you might not be able to see any possible way to make that happen. Keep that thought in your mind and at some point you will get what you need to make it happen. Maybe you are driving along one day and see someone cutting grass on a riding lawn mower. You realize that at fifty bucks a yard, you would only have to mow 2,000 yards in the next year to make that $100,000. Of course there are costs out of that which you will need to put into your plan so it will actually be more than 2,000 yards, but for numbers sake lets keep it simple. 2,000 yards is only 6 yards a day. Of course you could do more than six yards in an 8 hour period. Not to bad of an idea is it.

Now you need to put together your plan for making this happen. Your plan should include costs for cutting all those yards. How you intend to get all the yards to cut. Whether or not you will hire someone to help make that happen. How you intend to get your mower to the jobs. What you will do when it breaks down as it most certainly will. You need to try and cover as much as possible in your plan for acquiring that $100,000 as possible including a part of your plan the takes into account the unknowns. Those things which will come up that you can't plan for or didn't even think about. You also need to make sure that your plan is emotionally charged. Without emotion, your plan is just a piece of paper with words on it. Put your passion and desire to create that money into your plan. The more you charge it with emotion the more you set yourself up for success with your plan. So many businesses simply have a business plan because it's what businesses are supposed to do. They never realize that a successful business plan is one of emotion and goals and dreams and adaptability.
