Of course another way to do email advertising is to contact your own list. Regardless of whether you promote someone else's list, you should be working at building a list of your own. When you do this you will have names of people that agree to hear from you.
You can do email advertising this way very quickly as well just buy contacting them when you have something you want to say. And of course the benefit of having a list as well is your ability to sell email advertising to other people just like you.
A highly targeted list can bring a tremendous amount of revenue for you on a yearly basis. It is pretty much hands off except for placing the ad and running it on the scheduled time. You can even collect your money up front so that you are confident you will be paid regardless of the results.
These are a few ideas on how email advertising can make your life so much easier. You will not have to do a lot of complicated marketing, and it is something you can continue to do once you've found a system that works.
