The Profit Power Of Spreading Happiness

Oscar Wilde, the Irish literary genius, once said that everyone makes other people happy, the difference is that some do it by their arriving and others do it by their leaving. Which one are you?

Spreading joy and happiness in the world can be one of the most financially profitable activities you can engage in, once you understand how to turn this positive habit into cash.

Before you can generate large scale profits from spreading joy and happiness you have to ensure that your model of the world is inline with helping others.

Most people in this world are self centered. They have little time for helping others become happier and in fact they usually dislike seeing others do too well. They find it comforting to see others fail and they reinforce that failure by making comments such as "I told you it would never work."

The average person hates to think that someone else might be doing better than they are, or might have something better than they have, or is going up the ladder of success faster than they are. They are like spoiled children who want the world for themselves but aren't willing to make the contribution required to produce success.

But what if you could totally remove that type of thinking from your mind? What if you could start to think in terms of helping others become happier or more successful? What if you could think in terms of making life easier for others by helping them remove frustrations and problems from their life?

Here is the key to turning those positive attitudes into money.

Find a problem or frustration that many people have. The more frustrating the better. Then solve the problem or pay a freelancer to solve the problem. Then sell the solution to all who need or want it.

This is what the entertainment industry does.

The average person is bored and lacks excitement in their life. So the entertainment industry provides excitement in the form of movies, television shows, music, and so on. They then sell this excitement to all who want it and, if they do it well, they turn huge profits. It is a multi-billion dollar industry.

Bill Gates became the richest man in the world by making PC's more user friendly. Prior to Microsoft Windows you virtually had to be a computer programmer in order to make computers do anything interesting. Now you just point the mouse and click. And Bill is laughing all the way to the bank.

Bill Gates is also a good example that you don't have to have the perfect solution in order to make money. His software can be notoriously frustrating in itself, but it is still many times better than the pre-windows style of computer operation.

I wonder what problems you could sell solutions to?

Why not start by looking at your own problems and frustrations.

If you have a problem or frustration in your life then chances are that others will have similar problems or frustrations. Rather than viewing your problem as an irritating setback in your life why not change your perspective and see it as a potential financial gold mine just waiting for you to capitalize on.

Remember though it all starts by taking your focus off your personal gain and developing a mental model of helping others. The more you can help the more profit you can make. Profit becomes a welcome by-product of spreading joy and happiness throughout the world.
