This task would most likely fall on the HR personnel, and it would entail the staff to every single aspect of all job positions in the organization inside out. For instance, you are operating a moneymaking blog, so one of the metrics to use should be Page View. This metric measures the number of people who view your blog. No matter the interval, you can surely say that this is one metric that you should really include.
The fourth question at hand pertains to KPI trends. Of course, you have to determine just what trends are pervasive in the arena at present. By getting in touch with the different KPI trends, you get an inside look on the different KPIs and metric systems companies belonging to your industry, or even those that belong to a different industry. This way, you will have an idea on the KPIs that your competitors and colleagues are using, for this could also help you in choosing which metrics to amend and drop.
