Day Job Killer or Bank Balance Killer?

Well I think I can honestly say that I have received the most emails ever for the book, Day Job Killer. Virtually every marketer's list I am on has sent me an email about this new e-book by Chris McNeeney. Most people do not know who he is because he does not usually promote his name with his products, and only goes by Chris.

Chris McNeeney is an Internet marketer from the U.K. and was the creator of both Adwords Miracle and Affiliate Project X. Day Job Killer is his latest creation and as I mentioned before is being heavily promoted, which brings us to the problem.

The problem with any marketing tactic, and in particular Internet marketing, is that it will be over used and lose its potential. Sure these methods that Chris teaches worked for him and the small test group he worked with, but how many people can do the exact same thing and get results. One example Chris teaches is "campaign nuking" where you find a high producing keyword on Google and watch the top ads for a few days, then you basically copy their ad and out bid them. That may work if you do not have much competition, but even in a mildly competitive niche how many people can do this effectively. I can almost bet Google will be onto this quite quickly and start banning identical or similar ads.

There are many more tips and tricks in Day Job Killer that would have worked before everyone knew about them and if your niche is not too competitive they may still work. On launch day I checked to see how many affiliates were promoting this book and found about 200 with active Adwords campaigns running. That is often a good indicator that the money is in the reselling and not the content. At $77 Day Job Killer is a bit expensive to read just for fun, however ClickBank does have a good return policy. Maybe in a day or two someone will have a cheaper knock off version - after all that's Internet marketing.
