One method of launching your latest internet product is to create some excitement and a "buzz" surrounding the upcoming launch. One method of doing this is by having a "leak launch", which simply means your product launch is divided into two stages or phases- The Leak Launch and the Official Launch; beginning with the "leak launch".

The Leak Launch is an exciting new twist on the standard "product launch" used by the online marketing community. If you've ever participated in a "leak launch", you know that it can create quite a buzz surrounding the release of your product. Creating excitement about your product is crucial to improving sales and profits, because your clients will perceive the excitement and want to get in on your latest venture. The beauty of a leak launch is in the way it's designed, you'll (the product creator) actually have two launches to profit from-instead of just one.

The premise behind the "Leak Launch" comes from the perspective of having an existing customer list from previous sales. The leak launch can be used to stimulate the excitement and motivation of your affiliates by giving them the opportunity to earn more through sales they earn for you. You, as the product creator will benefit by gaining testimonials & affiliate sales that are perfectly designed to support the excitement of your standard launch. Not to mention, you're existing customers will feel more appreciated because you went out of your way to give them an extra special deal for being your customer in the first place.

After contacting your customer list, you can improve the impact of your leak launch by contacting some JV partners who may be interested in promoting your product to their customer list. This could potentially be the main body of your Leak Launch, by contacting existing customers and JV partners. When developing your marketing approach for a leak launch, I recommend gearing your message toward the benefits of "being an insider" in a major product launch. Then develop a follow-up email series and subsequent sales letter pages to introduce more about your product and the standard launch. The key is to peak the foundation buyers interest in both the product itself and the opportunity you are giving them by getting in now to promote during the leak launch.

When you move into your official launch, the marketing content (emails, sales pages, etc.) will focus almost exclusivelyon the benefits of your new product and how it will help the buyer.
