Using a wide toothed brush to comb as well as remove detangle and frizz. Do not brush your kid's hair vigorously or pull it too tight for styles like ponytail, as it could damage their young and sensitive scalp. While using hair styling products, first apply it to your palm. Then gently rub onto your kid's hair starting from the ends and then gradually upwards. If they suffer from frizz, use an anti-frizz conditioner before styling.
Now it is the time to show your kid what a blow dryer is and how it works. Show them the ON/OFF button and the hot/cool air selector switch. But tell them not to use it independently especially connecting the dryer to electric supply.

Partition their hair into four sections like crown, back, left and right. Hold them in place using hair clips. Now briefly turn on the dryer and turn it off. Get the child accustomed to the noise of the dryer. Release one of the sections of hair from the clip and turn the blower on again. Select the cool air first and then gradually start using hot air. Gently brush through the hair as you blow dries it. Blow dry the hair in a slow steady motion going up and down the hair. Repeat the same process to other section of the hair.
