Tension is how the braces applied by orthodontists such as Dr Bryan Altshuller work. Many people understand the basics of how braces work. Basically, the way braces work is through their ability to provide continual dynamic tension on the teeth.

Rather, based on careful analysis and diagnosis, an orthodontist will design the proper braces that are extremely precise. That means the direction the will be pulled will be the accurate direction. While the basic principles haven't changed, the duration and the discomfort experienced by the patient have both been reduced by my modern techniques, materials and technologies. In some instances orthodontists use software to predict the post treatment appearance of patients and reduce patient anxiety. Modern Orthodontic practitioners seek to make the overall experience more enjoyable with patient friendly offices, video games, music, reading material adorning their offices. The only tension orthodontist want to see is the dynamic tension that is an essential part of the treatment.
