Your Own Product or Master Resell Rights - Which is Right for You
If you've been selling affiliate products for a while and are ready to increase your income, you should consider some alternatives that can increase the amount of money that you make on each sale.
One of the best methods to do this is by creating your own product. The easiest product to create is your own ebook. The major disadvantage to creating your own product is the time and effort required to complete it. On average, it should take about a month to develop an ebook and get it ready to market. Although this may seem like a long time, consider that the life of an ebook is about 2 years. And you can earn substantial amounts of money during that period.
In addition, you are not locked into any specific terms if you create your own product. If you like, you can change the price, bonuses offered, or the sales page any time you like. With an affiliate product, you do not have this luxury. Another very important difference is the fact that you get 100% of the income your product generates. Using affiliate products, you only receive a percentage of the profits.
And last, but not least, having your own product allows you to develop your own affiliate program. By starting your own affiliate program, you can have hundreds of others selling your product. Each time an affiliate makes a sale, you make money.

After completing your research, determine if it is feasible to compete with others using that product. If you are not certain that you can compete effectively, move on and look for another product.
