Rosalind Gardner's "Super Affiliate Handbook" comes with rather catchy subtitle: "How I made $436,797 in one year selling other people's stuff online". That was my initial hook into the book. But, I can happily report, there is much more than a catchy title to Gardner's work.

"How to Choose Products and Affiliate Programs ", "How to Research a Profitable Topic", "How to Find Merchants", "How to Plan and Build Websites That Sell" are all included. Gardner stresses the need of promoting your credibility by providing your customer with excellent content through your copy. And yes, she does offer up some great advice on how to create that copy.

I don't know where you are in your attempts to make money online. But sooner or later you're going to come upon the importance of keywords. It may be the single most important component to your success. Gardner provides a thorough education of keywords and how to effectively use them to make money online.

There's also a great emphasis on traffic. After all, if you have a worthy product to sell, and have gone through the trouble of having a website built, what good is it all going to do if you don't have any customers coming through your doors?

I have a friend/mentor who recommended Rosalind Gardner's "The Super Affiliate Handbook" to me. He gave me a couple of warnings about the book that I feel are justified. I'll pass those on:

1) Some of the information here is elemental. If you are at all versed in computer use, you may want to skip certain chapters as you may consider this section "fluff".
2) This isn't a groundbreaking/earth shattering piece of work (to be fair, it doesn't profess to be either). If you've spent any time at all studying how to make money online, I'm sure you've come across these principles.
3) The information provided is "general" or "basic". I think that is a fair assessment. But I also feel that is one of the strengths of this work. If you are a beginner this is an excellent backdrop to anything you may attempt in making money online. And, if you are not a beginner this book certainly makes clear every piece of the affiliate marketing puzzle.

Speaking personally, I found the information here of great value. What Gardner teaches in this handbook gave her a different life and made her a wealthy woman. If it worked for her, why won't it work for someone else?

But I will issue my usual warning: you are not going to get rich by reading this book - it isn't about the "reading, it is about the "doing". However, if you put some effort into reading and understanding Rosalind Gardner's "The Super Affiliate Handbook" and apply the principle's taught (in other words, do the "work"), it can help you make money online. That's what it's all about and why this guide has my recommendation.
