Mazda's support to the WKA will be comprised of traditional sponsorship funding for prize money, operating costs, and exclusive benefits such as the business-partner pricing on new Mazda cars for the members of WKA.

In a statement, WKA President Randy Kugler said that WKA welcomes Mazda as their newest promotional partner. More than 9,000 proletarian racers compete in various classes with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and the National Auto Sport Association (NASA).
