Flash May Win Best Dressed, But Content is King

In this high gloss society, many ministries have bought into the idea that a picture, or better stated-"flash animation", is worth a thousand words. If you want your online message to impact the world in a lasting way, you'll need more than a few lightening bolts and swords zigzagging across the screen. What you'll need are the right words to carry your message to the right audience. Don't overlook the importance of using the proper words to get your message out.

Are you Investing anything in your Message?

Many ministries invest much time and revenue in flash animation, but fail to devote equal time and attention to the message being conveyed by their words. Hey, I've been dazzled by a few flash presentations myself. Unfortunately, after the introduction is over, there's a major drop off in the actual message of the ministry. It's like remodeling the outside of your home to impress the neighbors, only to let them into the interior of the home to find walls stripped bare and no furniture to sit on. I think flash animation can be helpful in getting your audience's attention. I don't think, however,it can or should ever replace the value of a quality message.

But I'm not Shakespeare!

Your words have generative power. They illuminate the importance of your cause as no other medium can. To be sure, you probably aren't exactly Shakespeare, but that shouldn't deter you from having a professional copywriter to facilitate the process of crafting a message for your ministry that is both engaging and effective.

Only Words can grab their Attention and Keep it.

I hear you asking, "Why does my message need to be engaging and effective?" Here's your answer. An engaging message is necessary to increase the attention that your ministry receives, and the effectiveness of that message is what motivates and ignites your readers to action.

Are you Talking Loud and Saying Nothing?

Words that don't rouse your audience to action are like the Shakespearean quote from Hamlet, "Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."Once you begin to see the importance of your words, you'll be better able to structure a firm foundation from which to launch a message that causes people to think, grow and change. Well-crafted words serve as the building blocks of your masterpiece message.
