Asthma is a condition that affects the airways these air ways are the tubes that carry air into the lungs and out. The condition itself is not curable. It can however be controlled, and prevented if one already has the condition, the best thing is to do get to know how to manage it. This way you will be able to live a long and productive life.

The most common symptoms of asthma include a burning pain in the chest area, wheezing, coughing and running out of breath. These symptoms vary with individual patients. Some show one or all of them at a go. Causes of asthma also vary with different individuals. The main causes of asthma depend on individuals. Some can get an attack from air pollutants, others from animals.

The most common causes of asthma are colds and viral infections, emotions, hormonal changes, house dust mites, medications, molds, fungi, polar, smoking and some elements of weather' the causes are very many. Some people can get an attack after having sex. What you need to do as an asthma sufferer is identifying the causes of your asthma attack. This way you will be able to deal with the condition.

Once you learn of the cause or trigger of your asthma try and avoid it. This way you will be able to stay for a long time without having an attack. The people around you should also be duly be informed about your condition so that they can be able to help you accordingly. This is very important in case of an attack.
