Helichrysum in flower form is usually known as everlasting or immortelle. While those names have to do with the long-lasting nature of the flowers, they could just as well have been talking about the Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil that comes from the plant.

Helichrysum oil is an amazingly useful oil that is thought to help clear up all sorts of skin problems. It seems to be particularly useful for people with eczema or acne, and to reduce or eliminate the appearance of scars.

One of the really amazing things about helichrysum oil is that it can help heal old scars, not just fresh ones. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory and is thought to aid in the regeneration of tissue, which makes it so effective in healing scars and wounds.

This therapeutic-grade essential oil is also helpful for clearing up bumps, bruises and dark circles. Applying a bit of diluted helichrysum oil to the site of an injury has been reported to clear up the skin damage within just a couple of days.

Helichrysum Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil is also thought to be helpful for reducing the discomfort associated with arthritis. It seems to be helpful at reducing inflammation as well as reducing discomfort.

Therapeutic-Grade Helichrysum Essential Oil is also notable for its wonderful aroma. It is rather strong, with earthy, herbaceous notes. Some describe it as straw-like, with a fruity scent like walking outside on a clean summer's day.

Just smelling this therapeutic-grade essential oil can boost your mood, energize your body, eliminate feelings of depression and even calm phobias. Helichrysum is a wonderfully versatile oil that not only helps the skin but also supports healthy nerves and good circulation.

Taken internally, Therapeutic-Grade Helichrysum Essential Oil can be used for stomach discomfort. It should always be diluted in rice or soy milk. One drop of oil to four ounces.

Therapeutic-Grade Essential Helichrysum Oil should always be diluted in a carrier oil before use. It can cause skin sensitivity so it should be used with care on the face and other sensitive skin. Women who are pregnant should check with their doctor before using the oil. As with all Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils, make sure you wash and rinse your hands thoroughly before and after using Helichrysum Oil, and avoid contact with the eyes.
