Why the rise in stun guns for women? The answer is simple: the rise in stun guns for women correlates with the rise in crime - especially personal attacks. Therefore, more women feel the need to protect themselves. Most women want to do this effectively, without necessarily killing their attacker, but with the opportunity to get help or get away. Stun guns will do this.
A stun gun will immobilize a would-be attacker long enough for a person to get away and get assistance. It overrides the nerves and muscles by using high voltage. This will keep the attacker at bay and otherwise occupied while you get to your car or to a neighbor's or find someone in the area and call the police.
Whether you are at the ATM, in a parking lot on the way to your car, leaving work or taking a walk or jog around the neighborhood, you can keep yourself safe.
Self-defense has come along way - as the commercial says, "You've come a long way, baby..." The huge variety of stun guns for women proves it.
