Most of this Socialist movement had one crucial word that was contained almost in every gathering party irrespective of what the word Socialist meant for them, this word will stay in German disgrace forever, it is nationalism. In general it included bringing all Germans into one State, though the meaning of nationalism was something between what people should be defined as Germans, and to what extend nationalism is spread on foreigners. This difference in opinions concerning nationalism would be the cause for many cruelties demonstrated in the Third Reich.
