Your affiliate business will grow if you learn from this...

Have you seen a sane man who meets a woman for the first time and begins, "Will you be my wife?"

Sounds abnormal -- No, that's abnormal.

The usual process is a guy sees a woman he likes and then looks for ways to get close to her. It could be lending a hand with heavy luggage. It could be joining in a volunteer group. It could be a lot of other ways. However, he just ensures he gets close to her.

If he senses that she is favorably disposed to him, he begins to show the best of courtesy. He starts with general but "casual" compliments. He may then venture further if everything goes fine this far: "Would you mind if I bought you a drink?"

They discuss general issues and if every thing works fine, there may be another meeting and another and another and...

They now start sharing secrets. They begin to reveal themselves in special ways. And one day he asks the question that had been in his heart all this while...

"Will you be my wife?"

She weeps or jumps or hugs him or does whatever is consistent with her nature.

That's somewhat like how it happens.

But what happens when we come online as affiliates...

We stumble into total strangers and start out in our first meeting...

"Will you be my wife (sorry, Will you buy my stuff)?

You should know it doesn't work that way. You first have to build a relationship. It takes time but you have to go out of your way to woo her. Give her the stuff she's looking for (high value information in the niche), make her subscribe to your newsletter.

With your newsletter, you build a stronger relationship. So, when you now make an offer or recommendation it's considered that of a friend not a stranger. Do you see how this can alter your affiliate revenue dramatically?
