The Taft Museum of Art is a popular attraction in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you have some time to kill in Cincinnati I can think of no greater place to visit. The Taft Museum of Art houses many great works of art from around the world. It was named after William Howard Taft who accepted his presidential nomination there in 1908. The museum is unique in many different ways. For example, it is arranged in such a manner that it allows you to see the progression of culture from medieval times to the Industrial Revolution. This includes not only Western culture but also Chinese culture. The museum house a variety of pieces of art from such artists as Rembrandt, Corot, Gainsborough and many more notable artists. You will also find examples of period furniture, jewelry and fashion from Western and Chinese culture. The museum gives you the unique opportunity to completely explore cultures from around the world through the ages. Its a great experience that you will be glad you took advantage of. Those under 18 years of age are admitted for free.
