Winter of House Selling Discontent

It's that time of year again! The countdown to Christmas has well and truly begun! The evenings are drawing in, the clocks are going back, the nights are getting colder, and with the festive season fast approaching everyone's thoughts are turning to family gatherings, present-buying and office parties. Let's face it - the last thing on most peoples' minds is house hunting! However for anyone who currently has their property on the market and needs a quick sale this is definitely not good news! So - is there anything that can be done about it? Simply dropping the price of the property is unlikely to make much difference because, although the seller may increase the chance of getting offers, they are still liable to be up against it in terms of the time the whole transaction is likely to take. Apart from the legal process involving two sets of solicitors, they are also likely to remain dependent on a chain of buyers and sellers, not to mention building societies and banks dragging their feet. All of which can prevent the deal going through this side of Christmas!

However, everything is not necessarily all doom and gloom, and if the long wait till Spring - in the hope that things pick up again - seems too long - then there is an alternative, and it comes in the form of a property buying company, such as, A Quick Sale Ltd which is currently probably the best known in the UK. These companies purchase properties for between 70% and 90% of its full market value, without having to wait for a buyer to be found. It goes without saying that great care must be taken when selling something as important as a house, however dealing with a reputable company can mean that the sale can be quickly put through with the minimum of hassle.

Property buying companies can also provide a useful service for anyone requiring a quick sale, no matter what the reason. One of the most frequent occasions when they are called upon is to prevent the threat of home repossession. Repossessions can be stopped and outstanding debts can be cleared enabling the home-owner to continue living in the property by renting back their home. In the case of divorce or separation, one party may remain in the property while paying a fair rent. This type of service can also be useful for anyone simply needing a quick sale of a property due to emigration, or to help bypass a broken or slow house buying chain, freeing the seller up to purchase their dream home.

It is important to point out that whilst such companies can provide the perfect solution to many sellers' problems, the seller must always make absolutely certain that this is the way they want to go before making contact with them. Furthermore, it should be noted that the seller is under no obligation to sell their house just because someone has made an offer. Good luck!
