Glasgow Airport Parking

If you want to reach Glasgow Airport by car, you can find the airport complex positioned approximately a 20-minute drive from the city, just north of the M8 highway at junction 28, with outstanding connections to a network of principal A roads which serve the local area. The sole terminal boasts three piers, Central (Domestic), East (Lo-Cost & Ireland/Northern Ireland) and West (International).
I can't remember exactly how many times I flew out of the Glasgow airport but it must be a large number of times. Usually I travel out of Glasgow to attend, every two weeks, a business meeting in London. Throughout the last four years of travelling I have expanded my knowledge about the services the available car parks at and nearby the airport offer. I always choose to park my car at one of the parking facilities while I am away.

I've had the opportunity to find out which parks provide the best service and came to the conclusion that in general they provide the same standards in terms of security and professionalism somewhat of an airport parking specialist as for the last 3.5 years I always parked my car at one of the available car parks and I've tried all types of parking services which are offered here. The only different factors are the locations of the parking lots and how much they charge for their services.

The airport facility itself boasts a modern multi-storey amenity for fast-track and short-stay parking options. In addition, there is the availability of a convenient valet parking service and long-term parking. Just outside the terminal building drivers can use the pick-up and drop-off area. Parking costs can be paid by taking a ticket from the barrier before you drive into the site and then pay the fee upon your return at one of the pay stations which are positioned in the multi storey park. An alternative option is to pay at the barrier near the terminal exit of the long-term parking lot by credit card.

The short-stay parking site provides direct access to the terminal and is good for a two or three hours parking duration. The fast track amenity on the ground floor, offers special daily prices for passengers who booked their parking needs in advance. The long-term car park runs shuttle buses which frequently (every 10 minutes) follow a route to the terminal building. This park is ideal for passengers who are going to make a long trip or having their family holiday. Additionally, the parking facility offers reasonably priced services, with attractive discounts available to those who booked parking online beforehand.

At Glasgow Airport there is also the availability of a valet parking option. Using this service is most comfortable as a chauffeur will meet you at the terminal at the agreed time and then transports your car for you to an outstanding secured location where the vehicle will be parked. When you return from your travels a representative will meet you again outside the terminal building.

It is highly recommendable to always book your Glasgow airport car parking beforehand through the internet. Today, the internet suppliers are able to provide the most comfortable way of securing your suitable parking space at one of the better car parks serving Glasgow airport. Usually these firms offer lucrative discounted parking fees which are most welcome as we probably are all aware of the fact that airport parking is rather expensive. Also ideal is that arranging parking online will save time. Listed below are the chief services available on the internet which I usually make use of to secure my parking at the airport.
