Webiste promotion done the right way is what you will read about. There are many misconceptions and assumptions when it comes to promoting your site. Here is where you will know what to do
When it comes to website promotion, it is imperative that you start planning right from your website blueprint.
The internet is already saturated with people trying to make business with this wonderful resource. Therefore the more competitive the www gets, the harder or smarter your will have to plan your website promotion.
My approach to website promotion is of course, search engine marketing for free. But how can you compete with well established websites which seem to have hogged every breath of marketing option you planned to use? Once you have this concept down, you can apply keyword and link building strategies based on each page. Search engines will choose relevant pages individually, even if your site is about everything. It is a page thing, not a website thing.
Having this concept in mind, I have learned that no matter what niche you are in. You can apply a strategy I call "getting in from the corner". This refers to using non-competitive keywords on certain articles and pages to your site, and driving visitors to your most competitive keyword pages.
You will need to structure your site on a 3-tier base and use your tier 2 and 3 pages as your non-competitive keyword focused pages. Then use these pages to drive your visitors to the center of it, which will most likely be the pages with highly competitive keywords. Eventually, search engines using their off-page criteria algorithms will grant you the importance you need on your most competitive niche.
