There is a reason why many people around the world like to shop online from US sites. Their clothes and fashion are up-to-date, US sites sometimes sell at bulk wholesale discount rates and their goods are of the highest quality. The problem, though, is that most US online stores only ship to US addresses or Canada. But there's no need to fret if you live in Asia, Australia or other countries and want to shop online in US sites. There are ways to get shoes from H&M, items from Urban Outfitters or even the latest gadgets shipped to you. Here are a couple of ways to get what you want from US online stores without leaving the comforts of your home.

1. Choose sites that offer worldwide shipping. There are some sites such as Amazon that offer international shipping. When you shop online, you can check out if these sites can ship to your country by visiting their FAQs page or their shipping page. You can find how much they charge for international shipping and how long it will take for your package to arrive. The drawback to this, though, is that these sites might not offer bulk wholesale discounts. They might also charge an arm and a leg for shipping rates.

2. Look for affiliate sites in your country. Some sites have partners site in your country, which can accept your local credit cards and can ship to you. Apple, for example, has sites all over the world including countries in Asia. Ikea also has an affiliate site in Singapore. But if you want to shop H&M or buy lingerie from Victoria's Secret or even items from US-only or Europe-only sites, you'll run into the same problem of shipping.

3. Talk to relatives or friends in the U.S. You can also request friends or relatives help you shop online. Simply look for items you want to buy (you might even be able to get bulk wholesale discounts) then use a money-forwarding service to send money to your friends so that they can use their credit cards to purchase the items. Or if the sites accept international credit cards, you can pay for the items yourself but instead of putting in your home address, have the items sent to the addresses of your friends or relatives in the US. They can then ship the items or have a freight forwarding company ship them to you. Using freight forwarders is more affordable and more practical than having US sites ship internationally.

4. Get your own US address from a forwarding company. Some forwarding companies will allow you to use their warehouses as US addresses when you shop online. You can use this address when you fill out the shipping details once you check out from shopping sites. You can even buy bulk wholesale items like printer ink or printer cartridges, clothes (if you want to shop H&M) or books and art supplies and send them all to the US address of the forwarding company. The forwarding company will then pack all the items in a box and ship all these items to you for a minimal fee. They usually charge per box, making it a lot cheaper than using international shipping.

5. Opt for a personal shopping service. There are hundreds of sites all over the world that can do online shopping for you. Just send them the url of the items you want to buy and they can cost out how much they will charge on top of the item's retail price. This additional charge will cover shipping and customs expenses. Most forwarding companies also offer different personal shopping services to make shopping online at US stores convenient, affordable and practical.

Don't feel let down if you live in Asia, India or Australia and want to shop H&M or buy bulk wholesale items such as affordable ink cartridges from US online stores. There are many options available for you to shop online without spending a fortune on international shipping.
