Families considering installing a swimming pool in their homes should first be aware of the different types of North San Diego swimming pool designs.

There are basically two main North San Diego swimming pool designs- above ground and inground. Within these two main types, there are several styles of swimming pools.

Rigid pools are the more popular among the two North San Diego pool designs. They comprise a structure wall and a vinyl layer. The wall can be made of aluminum, wood, steel or a combination of steel and resin. Rigid pools are considered the more stable among the two above ground North San Diego pool designs.

Soon after choosing between the different North San Diego pool designs, home owners need to choose the filtration system that they are going to use on their swimming pool. There are three different filtration systems available for swimming pools- sand, filter and diatomaceous earth.
