One Creator : God

If you buy the premise, then you have to ask yourself, why are we killing each other in the name of God? If God be God, then this Creator is IMMUTABLE! God can't be increased, decreased, diminished, let alone "dead"  as some have drawn the conclusion. All of history, the totality of mankind, and throughout the ages theologians have made their feeble attempts to ascribe human-like qualities to this God and in so doing have painted a dreadful picture.

Christianity is no less guilty of attributing negative human chracteristics to God such as: anger, vengence, jealousy, capriciousness, and of course the NEED to be worshipped with all manner of scarifices needful to appease whatever mood this God is in at the time.

Notwithstanding the various doctrines of the numerous major religions, there is common ground that makes common sense. We are spiritually made in the IMAGE of God! And while man has devised all manner of doctrines to seek a higher ground over the religion next door, the core principle(s) remain and it it they that we should embrace and focus upon.

Yoga: "God dwells within you as you"
Christianity: "The Kingdom of heaven is within you"
Hinduism: "By understanding the self, all the Universe is known."
Confucionsism: "Heaven, Earth and human are of one body"
Islam: "Those who know themselves know their God"
Buddhism: "Look within, thou art the Buddha"

We who adhere to one religion don't like the comparisons becuase within most religions are the failing of man whose desire it is to 'imperialize & control" all other religions.

If we can agree that God is LOVE, then we have to forget a lot of the doctrine, dogma, and daily practices that depict and describe us. Love lets others BE. Love does not seek to CONTROL. Love sets FREE. And love PREFERS others over self and it's because of that principle that we opt out of BEING and DEMONSTRATING truly who we are.

However, that will not change the truth that there is but ONE CREATOR. And if we look close enough, we will find the God in everyone (and that's not pantheism, but penentheism if you need a label).  :-)

As a spiritual-futurist, I interpret current events in light of possible macro-universal forces at play leading up to 2012, but not limited to it.
