One of the most paradoxical or contradictive principles of the bible would have to be The Law of Giving. At least it seems that way until we come to the understanding that the kingdom of God operates through the principle of dynamic exchange. The key word here is exchange. When you talk about receiving from a biblical stand point you can not dismiss the aspect of giving. Giving and receiving are in every since of the word different aspect of the same flow of God's power.

For anything that we desire to manifest in our life we have to make sure that we are on the right channel in the spirit so we can get the correct signal. This is the only way the principles of God will operate properly in our life. It is like listening to your favorite radio station. If your radio dial is on101.9 and you want to listen to 97.9 you're not going to receive what you are looking for.

Watch Your Mouth!

Proverbs 6:2 KJV Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

On our tele-class last night Apostle Stevenson brought this scripture to the table and Prophetess Woods took it to another level! As a child of God you can't afford idle and foolish talk, because everything that you say is reproducing a result. Many of us because we do not have the discipline to guard our conversations are, as this verse says, snared by the words of our mouth. You can not affirm wealth once or twice a day and continue to complain about what you don't have. The bible says bitter and sweet water should not come from the same fountain. Everything you speak is affecting you on a subconscious level and seeking to manifest what you confess. If you talk about sickness more than healing, guess what you're going to get? If you talk about lack more than the wealth you desire to manifest you are telling the universal principals that God has set in place that you believe in poverty more than wealth. If you preach against wealth, you and your people will walk in lack!

Luke 6:38 KJV Give, and it shall be given unto you…

Remember, the universal principal of giving operates through dynamic exchange. What that means is what you send out will not return to you void. Money is called currency because it is design to flow. The word currency means to flow. If you desire to have wealth flowing into your life you can not have a problem with giving! If you give money the reciprocity of the principle of God attracts money back into your life. If you give of your time the same is true, you will find others giving of there time to you.

You can Expect a Return

I know some religious people would say when we give we should not expect anything in return. However that is another lie of the enemy that must be dismiss from our thinking. The bible says in Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Too often we look at this verse in a negative light. The truth of the matter is this is another one of God's principals. What you sow or give out is what you're going to reap. If I sow money I am no longer going to allow myself to be deceived as many are, I can expect to reap money. If I give a little I will reap sparingly, but if I sow bountifully I can expect "that shall I also reap".

God has given us the power or affluence to get wealth. The word affluence simply means "to flow in abundance". You determine your flow by what you believe. It is up to us to keep this flow flowing by not restricting our giving! When you start praying, confessing and affirming wealth the first thing that happens is avenues for you to give open up. If that is not bad enough, most of the times we are lead by the Holy Spirit to give to those that are already walking at a level of wealth we have not reached! Doesn't make since! However as we will see tomorrow were you sow many times is more important than how much!
