"Special events should also have extraordinary cuisines. Just like weddings, graduations, baptismal, and even corporate events. In these occasions, we always hire reliable catering services in West Covina. The said catering in West Covina always serve us with the most appetizing foods ever, that's why, when the moment of my graduation came, I never take second thoughts in hiring them.

I took a glance to their catering brochure. Their catering menu in Los Angeles was filled with irresistible foods! As I look at every page, I saw all the services that they offer. They also have bartending in Los Angeles and cooking classes in Inland Empire that captures my interest. And that are the reasons why I chose them to cater my graduation celebration.

March 29, 2008. I woke up early two o'clock in the morning. With only four hours of sleep, which is not enough, but with the feeling of extreme excitement, I think that factor will suffice my less hour of sleep.

I hurriedly went downstairs to see my graduation dress. "It's beautiful", I said to myself. The pink dress and my newly bought black shoes linger on my mind.

"Andy Fray!"

As I imagine myself, being called by our class professor to come up on stage and receive the fruit of our hard work--our diploma, together with almost a thousand graduates, I didn't notice my mother calling me.

"Andy!"

"Ehrm, I'm sorry mum, I was kinda excited for this special day."

I notice from her eyes that she was feeling the same way too. She hugged me and kissed me on the forehead.

"I am very proud of you, my Andy."

Those words linger on my mind. And it seems like the time has stopped for us to take some moments together. I have never seen her that emotional, maybe because her little daughter before is already a grown up now, and now facing the end of her student life, now heading for new and tougher challenges the world offers.

The mood was suddenly changed when the phone rang. And mum rushed to answer it.

It was the catering service that we hired for my graduation. They said that they would arrive at exactly twelve noon to serve the guests for lunch. And mum agreed.

I head to the bathroom to take a bath.

I finished after an hour and went to the closet to get prepared. I wear on my pink graduation dress, fix my hair, put on my pearl earrings, and done my make-up. At last, I am ready. I was about to go when I notice that mum was not preparing yet. She was looking at my pictures when I was still a lad.

I embraced her. And told her that I am still the "Andy" that she had taken care and loved. I am still the daughter who loves her very much. But what's different now is that I am now a lady, a big girl who will now take care of her. Just like that. Those sweet words comfort her and made her realized that I am still right beside her. I know what she feels. She's only afraid of losing me. That's why I made her a guarantee, that I will always be her "Andy"."
