It is well-known that hundres of thousands of web-masters get a decent income from advertisement on their websites. Of these, tens of thousands of earn unbelievably huge amounts of income.

There are tens of thousands of ad companies from which you can choose ads for your website. The question for a new net enterprenuer is, which advertisement company should he try first. Without any hesitation I would say, try Google Ad Sense. Not only should Ad Sense be the first that you should try, but it should also be the only one if you have only once choice. The reasons are given below.

What is Ad Sense: the advertisement program of Google is usually known as ad sense. They have taken orders from hundreds of thousands of companies to displaye their ads on internet. These compaines pay Google for the number of clicks that these ads generate, with the understanding that a click shows a customer who wishes to know about their product or services.

Google keeps a portion of this income to offset its establishment charges, and also as a small profit. The rest of it is passed to the customer and it becomes his ad-income.

How Does Google Do This: Google has a special spider that keeps visiting websites with their advertisement. This spider is different from their search-engine spider, and has been developed specially for ad-support. Based upon the assessment of the spider, Google matches the reader, his geographical position, and the content of the site to display the ad in which he is most likely to get interested in.

What is more, Google contiually wathes all clicks and creates statistical profiles so as to provide a continually increasing match. The aim is to maximize ad-clicks. This helps all the parties involved. The advertiser gets maximum response, the publisher and Google get maximum revenue.

While there are numerous ad-giving companies, nobody has a spider and matching system like that of Google. A few big companies have recently added spidering to their ad programs, but they are several years behind Google, which has the advantage of experience.

How Much Do They Make: Those who get adsense income are probably not allowed to disclose their income, so I am not going to take a risk to announce my income. Based upon the income of many people that I know, I would say that $10 a month to $100 a month is very common for non commercial and religious blogs. But $100 to $1000 is common for technical blogs that handle commercial items such as books, cameras, electronic goods, medical products and medical services. Many bloggers are known to earn more than $1000 per month from a single blog, and they are a highly successful group of enterprenuers.

Any Precautions: Yes, you should aim at a certain minimum traffic for your website. This is because only about 1 in hundred visitors click and advertisement. Thus if 10 clicks are needed a day for making some money on our blog (the click-payment amount varies from topic to topic) then you should aim to have 1000 to 1500 visitors a day on your website or blog.

Whatever the type of your website, the click-income is directly proportional to the number of visitors and the pages they scan. Thus you should try to increase both of them to optimum levels.

Conclusion: choose Google as your provider if this is your first provider or the only provider. Nobody matches ads with customer they way Google does. However, even the best program can fail. So do add ads from other compaines after you start working with Google ad senes.
