Another method of marketing that has been used for decades is placing an ad in the local newspaper. Sunday is the best day to place your ad because more people purchase newspapers on this day. Of the three marketing methods use thus far, the newspaper is perhaps the method that will give your home the most exposure.

Using a for sale by owner website is yet another option for marketing your home. Through this kind of website you can advertise your home with a photograph and description of the home. Since more people are using the internet to search for your homes, placing your home on one of these websites should be a top priority for you.

While there are several different methods you can use to market your home, you will receive the best benefit from using more than one of these methods.
