The exceptionally talented Country artist Chris Young has released him CD entitled Chris Young. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Chris Young fans, and Country fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Chris Young Chris Young's artistic excellence is on full display as Young has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.
Chris Young has been a super star in the Country genre for quite some time now and Chris Young is an excellent illustration as to why.
Chris Young grabs your attention right from the very beginning with Beer Or Gasoline and doesn't let go until the very last note of the very last song Who's Gonna Take Me Home, which is another great track by the way.
Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Country music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Young on several of the tracks. Artists like John Willis and Eric Darken just to name a couple.
Overall Chris Young is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Country collection. Truly an outstanding Country CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.
While this entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 2 - You're Gonna Love Me, track 4 - White Lightning Hit The Family, and track 11 - Who's Gonna Take Me Home.
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 7 - Small Town Big Time. Outstanding!
