Your best friend is your responsibility. You take such responsibility serious and not take your dog for granted. Besides, if your dog isn't feeling well, he or she will be grouchy and you will not really enjoy playing with a grouchy dog. Chances are, your dog will not even want to play with you are at all if he or she is not feeling well. Remember that dogs are just like human beings; you wouldn't want to go running around with your friends if you are not feeling so well. Would you want to socialize if you have a splitting headache or something?

It has been said that a dog is man's best friend. As your best friend, you should always make sure that your dog is in top shape always. Contrary to the common belief that dogs are tough and they can withstand almost all kinds of illnesses, dog health can be as fragile as that of human beings. You should never take the dog health for granted if you don't want to come home one day and find your best friend really ill.

Now, how does one keep their dogs at top shape and keep him or her happy? If you want to keep you dog in top shape, you should give him or her enough exercise. Walking your dog will also be beneficial to you since you could also get that much needed exercise if you start walking your dog for a few minutes daily. Besides, walking your dog could be one of the best ways to meet new friends. You are bound to run into somebody who is also walking his or her dog and eventually strike up a conversation. When it comes to your dog's diet, always remember that dog health is affected by the food that your dog eats. You should make sure that your dog is getting the right kind of food is order for him or her to stay healthy and alert.
Remember, keeping your dog healthy you will be happy.
