Wedding tiaras have become a unique headpiece to compliment your wedding gown and veil. They can be worn alone or with a bridal veil. They are usually worn at the top of the head like a crown or over the head like a headband.

When shopping for your wedding tiara you may want to consider the style of your veil or gown. You can purchase wedding tiaras on the internet or in local bridal boutiques. Crown style tiaras are worn on top of the head like a crown, headband styles like a headband. Browband tiaras are placed on the head and extend in a "V" shape over the forehead.

Rhinestone tiaras are by far the most popular headpiece. Rhinestones are tiny simulated glittery stones that are made of glass, acrylic or rock. They come in various shades of colors such as silver, clear, blue, red, purple and many other shades.

Crystal tiaras are made of faux or authentic Swarovski crystals. They maybe made of crystal beads and are often accompanied by scattered rhinestones or pearls.

Pearl tiaras are often made of faux pearls, but some use authentic as well. Pearl tiaras are often found on headband and broadband styles and may include sequins, lace, satin or ribbons.

Tiara combs or clips can be worn in the hair for a more simple, informal look. These often have small beads, pearls or crystals sewn to them.

Most tiaras come either attached to comb or veil for easy placement. A lot of modern tiaras are manufactured with loops on ends for insertion of clips or pins in hair that hold them in place.
