If you own or run a corporation or other business in the UK you may consider planning an activity day (or weekend) that is scheduled complete with a lunch, motivational speech, entertainment, and team building games.
Team building games are probably one of the most important of the activities that you would plan on your corporate activity day. The reason why that is usually team building games are more interactive the other above-mentioned activities that would take place at this event (except for maybe lunch).

Some of the traditional team building games that takes place at a corporate activity day events include treasure hunts and mystery games. Both of these games involve a team of people putting their heads together and contributing their strengths in order to solve problems with limited amount of information.
However, you can only have so many treasure hunts or mystery games, especially if your corporation has done them several years in a row. Perhaps this year you may want to try something different. It will help keep your long time employees on their toes. They will not know exactly what to expect.

One of the newest recommended types of games is one such as "Enter the Dragons Den" which is sponsored by one of UK's largest corporate event and activity day services companies.
The object of the Enter the Dragon Den game is to create a useful invention with a limited "budget". Then after the invention is created each team will then be required to create a presentation which will help people understand the purpose of the invention being created.

Then, a marketing plan for promoting the newly invented product will need to be created. This plan along with the earlier-mentioned presentation will be presented in front of three "Dragons", who are mock millionaires by names such as Tyrone Pirelli, Mike Rosoft, and Mark Spencer.
The object of the game is for each team to be able to convince very important people of the feasibility of a new product. If one or more of the "Dragons" is impressed, and is able to get the answers to the questions they asked, then one of those "Dragons" will award a team with funds to pursue the invention.
The purpose of the "Dragon" game is to help foster creativity, ingenuity, and efficiency. Additionally, this game will help groups of people learn how to stretch money as vary as possible in order to achieve maximum results.

This type of team building game will also help groups and individuals improve on their presentational skills as well. This type of game is appropriate for all corporate events, and for any business that requires employees to be the best that they can be (which is always needed).
