Ocean Waves, Hydro Power Innate to Human Thought; Why?

Some things seem to come naturally to humans, things such as the power of water. Perhaps this is something innate or perhaps it is because as children we see the power of ocean waves that can knock us down? Nevertheless, mankind has been taking advantage of the power of water for many thousands of years. Consider the old mills which used the power of the river to help them in their endeavors?

Why is it that humans find energy generation from hydroelectric plants so natural? Hard to say but one person in our online think tank recently stated that he finds generating power from Ocean Waves some how innate in his thoughts. Almost as if everyone is suppose to be using Wave Energy and that somewhere folks along the lineage of the generations gone by scientists and those in charge made a mistake and took the sciences down the wrong path or tree branch.

When I heard this I was intrigued and the concept of this intellectual conversation got one step better when he further stated; I mean old Atlantis discussion and dialogues seem to me to be pointing us somewhere other than what we are doing now. And to that point, this is not to say, "well lets tear down civilization" and build a new, but rather my point being; There is no honor is in-efficiency and Ocean Wave Generation is ALL about EFFICIENCY.

The flows of our civilization demand such efficiencies and yet, we have thousands of miles of coastline on both sides and nothing? How crazy is that? This is when we all brought up the revolutionary designs of Fieldstone Energy; http://www.fieldstoneenergy.com/technology.htm and how those concepts might very well one day soon change the world.

In fact they even have a low tidal flow concept meaning that the entire Gulf of Mexico is ripe for energy revitalization and why not? I cannot think of ONE single reason why not? Because if you do not need huge waves to generate the energy, then why not put ocean wave generation machines everywhere? Well, I certainly hope our dialogue helped propel thought for you today and indeed throughout 2007.
