Manifesting Your Desires with Paper Seeds

My grandfather played a big role in my youth. He taught me a lot of very important lessons including the Biblical verse: As you sow, so shall you reap.

Turning seeds into full grown, blossoming plants and trees, is a magical thing. This blossoming can be taken figuratively. There's a caution at the start of something new--don't tug at the sprouts in an attempt to make them grow faster because that will simply kill them.

With a figurative seed, the growth can happen instantaneously or fairly quickly, or it may take time, only coming to fruition as quickly as you're ready to allow it to.

You can't go beyond where you have not yet begun. This simply means that in order to have the grown plant (business, relationship, idea), then you must start with the planting of the seed.

Now for the sowing. . . this is one of my absolute favorite exercises.

The only thing you'll need for this exercise is a stack of multi-colored 3 x 5 cards. For each "seed" choose a separate card. These can be single words, something as simple as a persuasion language pattern, or an affirmation.

Here's how to compose your paper seed statements: 'I'm aware of the things I need to do to persuade everyone I come into contact with, in every interaction.'

The aim of this affirmation is your awareness.

My students tell me all the time, 'I love all the stuff I'm learning with you. I just think it's brilliant and I'm thrilled to be studying with you. the problem is, I forget to use it.'

I hear this from people I've been working with for years. And sometimes it takes time to sink in. I always remind them, the conscious mind is fickle. It takes time to remember to use persuasion strategies.

Now that your statement is written on the 3 x 5 card, take the card and cut it up into fifty little pieces.

Now take each little piece and tape them up all over your house, tape them in your car, on your bathroom mirror, on your treadmill, on your wallet--everywhere you look.

Be creative. Tape them up everywhere and leave them there for at least seven days. And tell yourself, ever time you see one of the pieces, that you'll repeat the affirmation that you wrote in full. (You can also 'think' it out in full.)

This exercise is going to internalize and actualize your affirmation a hundred times faster than if you had just carried the card around with you. You've got fifty little reminders instead of just one, and each time you repeat it to yourself, you're one step closer to realizing it.

Use this strategy to push anything into your brain in order to act more quickly.

I'm absolutely certain if you try this, you'll have amazing flowering gardens of success.
