Right in Front of your Eyes

Did you ever want to hide something so good even you have trouble finding it? Most of the time we do have trouble remembering where we put it, after all we think we will remember when we are getting ready to go away Then we get back after a week vacation and guess what, We do not have a clue what we did with our items. We do know we hid them so no one would find them, if someone broke into your home.

Six months later after we are cleaning out the dinning room dry sink we find the necklace we love so much.

You know that is really is not a great idea anymore to hide your key under the mat. Everyone knows to look their, But what about a rock in your rock garden, or a beautiful flowerpot with impatiens in them on the front porch. My father used to hide candy from his 6 kids in the drop ceiling (I guess no one told him about the mice). He learned quickly and Tupperware was always missing from the cabinet. We were too small; to reach the drop ceiling. I really think he was hiding the candy from my mother.

Every time you get ready to go on vacation do you look around the house for a place to hide your jewelry or money? I take a book safe with me on vacation, leave it in my luggage with my money and jewelry, my husband carries a can of aftershave to place his money in. The safe in the room is great but the have been know to pull them out of the wall. Not stop and read my book or shave.

Collage students will find Diversion safe as long as you are not using peanut butter jar.

Sometimes you are not really sure who is in your home. The kids have a party and you don't know half of the kids that show up.

Think like a Thief. If you were to rob someone where would you look? This may take a couple of minutes. But what about putting items in plain site, like a salt shaker or under the bathroom counter. When the last time you heard someone was was broken into and they cleaned the bathroom. NOW that would make great headlines;

Robber Cleaned bathroom before taken all Valuables from Homeowner

Business Robbed after eating a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

The Percentage of robbers in the US has skyrocketed in the last year. Everyday we see articles about someone braking into someone's home, and we think about it, but never do anything. Stop and think you could be next. Hide your valuables in plane site.

Diversion Safes come in many different styles, Peanut butter, salt shaker, dried soup, Shaving cream, Flower pots, they even feel full so you can place them in plain site and know one knows. Placing a key to your home in a can of Coke would be a great idea, Put the can in your recyclables outside your home. I am really sure he would not look their or take the 5 cents cans to return.
