The popular book by Rebecca Washburn-"How To Pick Your Baby's Gender" was written following years of research into natural gender selection methods.

Picking the gender of your baby is often seen as a somewhat controversial step. However, if being very honest there are probably few parents who having had two or more children of the same sex, would not secretly crave a baby of the opposite sex. It's a bit like an unspoken "taboo". I clearly remember being pregnant when I had my beautiful little boy and really wanted a baby girl to complete my family, I couldn't bring myself to say it to others-I always gave the same response whenever I was asked if I wanted a boy or girl:

"I don't mind as long as it's healthy"

Oh, but I really did mind. I desperately wanted a daughter. However, when my gorgeous second son was born my thoughtsevaporated and of course I loved him with a passion.

It was only a couple of years further down the line when I still had those niggling feelings that I wanted to have a girl. However, I wasn't prepared to go ahead without trying everything possible to ensure that I had a really good chance of conceiving a girl.

After much searching on the internet, I came across the book by Rebecca Washburn, "How To Pick Your Baby's Gender". I chose it above other similar-looking publications for a couple of reasons. Firstly, there was great emphasis on the fact that her methods have a strong basis in scientific fact and secondly, it did actually come with a full money back guarantee, so I made my mind up that if I wasn't happy or felt it didn't give value for money, I could at least cut my losses, having wasted nothing other than my time!

The book begins by "dissecting" all the known facts which influence conception and which gender will be conceived under what circumstances and this was a real eye-opener. There are so many different elements which can sway the odds in favor of conceiving a child of either gender and many are interlinked. Some of the information even made it crystal-clear why I had conceived my two sons and, more importantly how, without this information I would almost certainly have gone on to conceive another boy!

What I really liked myself is how every single recommended step had a very clear, logical explanation as to why it could work and there is great emphasis on using every known possible "trick in the book" to help you to conceive a baby of your desired gender. This means that by not just focusing on one technique, such as "diet" or "timing of intercourse", you are using a multifaceted approach which almost guarantees success-or at least gives you the highest possible chance.

I did go on to have my gorgeous daughter, who is almost two years old now. If I hadn't followed Rebecca Washburn's techniques, I can now say that based on what I know, it would have been very likely that I would have had another son.

The book by Rebecca Washburn-"How To Pick Your Baby's Gender" is certainly worthy of further consideration if you are wanting to try to choose the sex of your next child. It is clearly written, easily understood and the techniques are simple and easy to implement. What I liked best is the fact that not only the hows but the whys were explained.
