Why not shake things up a bit and do something that is a little different. Now, were not talking sky diving here, just a slight change from the usual. Consider:

Wine Tasting: This is a great activity that allows you to focus on something else so that you are not awkwardly, fumbling through conversation. Instead, you can talk about the wine and then if that goes well, you can begin talking about yourselves.

Chili Cook Off: A chili cook off can be a good, fun place to go. Tasting the chili and enjoying the competition can be really cool and stress free.

Toy Store: Channel your inner kid and visit a toy store. Maybe pick up some board games or Super Soakers and play with them later.

Take a Class: Doing something like taking a pottery class can be a nice first date. You can talk and get to know each other while doing something new and fun.

Get Physical: Get that body moving. Consider taking a hike, roller skating or walking on the beach.

Water Park: If your city has a water park and you both enjoy swimming and slides, this could be a nice date. This would make a really fun and exciting date.

Go See A Play: If you are into the arts, consider going to a play or to a symphony.

Visit a Museum: Museums are a great way to talk and enjoy great art and sculptures.

Go to the Zoo: Visit the zoo and check out the new exhibits or revisit the old ones.

Park & Picnic: Taking a walk through the park and enjoying a picnic allows you to enjoy outside together and enjoy a romantic lunch or supper.

These are 10 fun dating activities that you might want to consider if the idea of dinner and movie bores you. Think outside the box a little bit and come up some of your own ideas. Taking a drive, feeding the ducks or even fishing can all be fun activities if you have an interested partner. However, if you are having a hard time coming up with ideas of your own, consider visiting a local or nearby museum, strolling through park and having a picnic, going to the zoo, seeing a play, visiting the park, going to the water or amusement park, taking a hike, a class, going to the toy store, attending a chili cook off or a wine testing event.

Dates give you an opportunity to get to know someone better so that you can decide if you want to get to spend more time with that person. But that doesnt mean that you have to do the same old thing or treat the other person like a job candidate. Instead, do something, different, fun and exciting. If you do, you will find yourself likely going on a second date.
