The restoration may involve the following work:

4. Soldering and Welding - Joining of broken pieces of the item. In this cases, it may require polishing, plating or repainting.

5. Brazing - A metal-joining process similiar to welding whereby a filler metal is heated above and distributed between two or more close-fitting parts by capillary action. It is used for joining delicate pieces.

6. Sandblasting - Sandblasting is an act of propelling very fine bits of material at high-velocity to clean or etch a surface.

7. Casting - Casting is a manufacturing process by which a liquid material is usually poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to solidify. For the broken and damaged pieces of an item which cannot be restored, we use this process.

8. Glass Cutting - Glass cutting is an art form. Cutting glass requires a knowledge of tools designed specifically for the task and the skill level will vary substantially for the different kind of glass artefacts.
