‘Honest riches' is a book which reveals secrets of making money online. What attracted me to the book is the story of a young 23 year old U.S army veteran who gets disabled and consequently leaves the States with her infant son to settle in Thailand where she can concentrate on making sense of her life. Being at the low end and desperate, she tries to teach herself how to earn a viable income online. She utilizes the abilities and resources within her and does a lot of research on different techniques of internet marketing and four months later, she was earning an impressive $12000 dollars a month from a totally broke 0 dollars.

She was prompted to write the book after reading the much sought after ‘Rich Jerk' book which reveals amazing online money making secrets only to discover that she knows almost everything that the rich jerk talks about. She is then also inspired to impart what she knows to many strugglers out there. She says that she wrote the book so that she could plant some seeds of Internet Marketing knowledge in the reader. She hopes to equip whoever is interested with all of the tools that one needs to succeed in making a lucrative income online. Her ideas and advice are intended ‘to open your eyes, your mind and get your thoughts rolling so you can generate money yourself.'
In the book she almost leaves nothing out in giving the reader all she has discovered. The author writes in a frank, honest and to the point style.

It is one of the most comprehensive books on making money online that I have ever read. The book is carefully researched giving you so much information you will appreciate the author for her generosity. You get much more value than what you pay for. Before I came across this book and bought it, I was floundering around reading so many books that only gave me a hint of internet marketing without directing me to the path to follow. This book finally put the world of online riches in perspective, and educated me on so many aspects of earning money online that I keep coming back to it again and again, to fine-tune on what I have learnt.

The book is full of resources. In the book Holly teaches the new beginner how they can start earning money online with no start up cash. She covers everything from earning money from affiliate programs, promotion methods, creating a website, blogging, adsense, search engine optimization, creating your own e-book and more. There are several, updates to the book but the new updated version offers 95 pages of practical information organized in 12 chapters.

For the person who is in a hurry the book is full of links to websites (all resources) which may take a lot of time to navigate through and the information may be a little bit too much to take in all at ago. It is therefore not for the quick get rich schemers, it is for those who are serious about online business and intend to put in some effort and time. To get the full benefit of the book you have to chunk it and take your time as you visit and study all the suggested links.

This book is very helpful to people who are new to making money online because it demystifies the world of making money online with many useful resources included. It will save the newbie invaluable time in figuring out the scope of making money online. She gives you many alternatives that you can try and gives you a review of the salient points of different alternatives. She really does a good job of pointing the way. Honest Riches is definitely not a book to pass by. It is an invaluable resource for those starting out in the world of making money online.
