'Hug', may be the simplest and cutest way to share love and affection. We embrace our friends, mates, family, colleagues, people we love and people around and thus express our attachment with them.

This global 'virtual' Hug for Peace celebrating World Hug Day is our opportunity to show the world that 'peace begins with me'. Hugging has all the positive qualities and self esteem; such as whenever you hug someone the expression of accepting him or her becomes quite precise and clear. Hugging also symbolizes that the hugger is an extremely emotional person and willing to spread friendship and fellow feeling.

On January 21st 1986 National Hugging Day was founded in the US. It was founded in 1986 by reverend Kevin Zaborney. It has spread all over the world and is called by many names - Hug Day, World Hug Day, Send a Hug Day, International Hug Day, and even Hug a Bear Day! Sometimes people just stops to exhale; due to the immense pressure of this money-oriented give and take based soulless life-style, people often simply forget to cheer up and gear up both mentally and physically. Sometimes one may just feel isolated from all that is positive and jovial in this world. There is no better medicine of these kind of decay of brain and physic except than gifting or getting a lovely hug. It is one of the blessed medicines which is devoid of any fattening materials. It is a sweet dessert without any added sweeteners or chemical additives.

World Hug Week occurs every year during the third week of July. The goal of this week is to encourage everyone to hug three people a day for seven days, and to ask those three people to do the same. You can start today! Give the people around you the touches they're craving. Many people celebrate World's Hug Day to ensure the presence of that little kid inside who requires love, care and pampering in spite of being a citizen of this ultra modern computerized society. Its not only because of the sheer loneliness that we experience sometimes but also to ensure our humane urges of love and affection. Jesus, our beloved 'son of god' first taught us that we can transform our foes into our friends only through the strike of love and brotherhood by one simple hug.

According to US today Reese Witherspoon won the award of the most huggable person of the year 2006. Hugging attitudes reveal the contagious and sincere attributes as one special contributes of one's character. Some clinical therapist say that a real good hug is a mild form of breathing therapy. Hugging sometimes relaxes your pains and claustrophobias after long shifts of your work schedule in the busiest days. here is a natural breathing reflex that invites a very deep breath; deeper than you can take if you try and take a deep breath by yourself. The key to it is in tricking the nervous system into letting the muscles of the rib cage go so that the lungs can fill up easier and fuller. A hug is one of those type of "tricks." This stimulates a deeper parasympathetic nervous relaxation response and you experience a sense of calm, ease or pleasurable excitement.

When a friend has already just finished exhaling, try "hugging" them around the mid to lower chest and gently squeezing a little air out of them. Let go immediately but smoothly so they can take a relaxed, effortless, deeper inhale. It's probably best to warn them a little before you try this, as many are not used to such intensity of contact and will spontaneously tighten up what are called the "accessory breathing muscles"; those that fire inappropriately and reduce a deeper more refreshing, relaxing in-breath.

Apart from these hypothetic details of hugging people simply love hugging loved ones because it is received by men as a sign that we are not alone on this world. Mother embraces her child right after its birth in the world, so basically this is the primary sign of the affectionate touch of life which a mother gifts her child and welcome to this world thus. So we all should enjoy the hug day to realize our very existence upon this world. Those whom we cant hug at once we can send greeting cards, e cards and gifts to remember us. Let's celebrate the hug a bear day this 21st and make it a hugely successful one.
