Warcraft Quick Guide to Gold

Why would you want to farm gold on World of Warcraft? Why would you need a good guide to get WoW gold fast?

Having gold in WoW is as important as in any online game, infact, in Warcraft it's even more important because it's harder to get. There's a heap of quality guides out there now that teach you the best ways to level, and now it's not uncommon to see servers full of max or near max level characters.

If everyone is around the same levels then the things that are going to distinguish your character from the next guy is the quality of equipment and skills you have. Now for equipment you might get lucky on drops, but if you have gold you don't have to rely on luck.

Grinding is the most common way of getting gold, purely because that is the best way in most other games like Warcraft. In Warcraft it's about the dumbest thing you can do. For starters when you chase after good gold mobs there is a higher chance you are going to end up dead, and that's not fun. However if you add the grind to a profession you'll find yourself making gold much faster.

Get your profession sorted out early on and train it the whole time. Take a look at what people want to buy - and work out what profession will best deliver this. One profession you should definitely look at early on is Skinning, as there is always plenty of demand for the skins you collect, and a lot of the creatures you mindlessly slaughter are skinnable.

A good plan of attack would be to get skinning as early as possible and then focus your grinding levels on skinnable creatures during the early(1-20) and mid(21-40) levels. Mix in a reasonable number of humanoid creatures every time your equipment needs to get a bit of a boost. There's a few reasons for this. Firstly getting equipment from drops saves your gold for later on when you will need it more, and humanoid's are more likely to have equipment that will be useful for you. Secondly, humanoid's seem to carry more coins around with them, which makes sense I suppose, after all sheep and bears don't have much call for it.

Prior to level 40 it's quite possible to collect all three resources(gold, equipment and exp) at once, after level 40 you will find that more and more you need to target one of the resources. Thus you will either be hunting experience, searching for gold or chasing equipment to enhance your character.
