Wellness is the buzz word on everybody's lips.

There has been many books written on wellness and the wellness revolution that will be a trillion dollar industry, some say we have a wellness war occurring, but what does it mean in relation to you.

Wellness can mean a healthy balance of the mind, body and spirit that gives an overall feeling of well-being, or according to medicine it refers to the state of being healthy and disease free.

Total well-being programs cover fitness, nutrition and personal development of the participant and usually provide information and tools to assist with the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional areas in ones life.

Just as all of the aspects in a total well-being program are important to everyone so is Financial Wellness.

Take a hard look at your finances and goals, are they going to support you for the next 10, 20, 30+ years?

When you go on a holiday most people take time to plan the holiday by deciding on the destination how they will get there, how long they will stay and importantly where they will stay.

Your financial wellness plan or goals should be treated in exactly the same way; in fact your financial wellness is more critical than planning the annual holiday.

Goal setting for financial wellness is no different to the athlete's techniques or successful business people who set their goals then create some action to reach their goals.

Goals allow you to focus on the end result and they help you organize your time and resources so that you can make the most of your life. By setting goals you can get the happiness you deserve, you can achieve financial freedom, you increase your motivation to achieve, you improve self confidence and you can eliminate attitudes that hold you back from achieving.

Research has shown that people who set goals and use them effectively suffer from far less stress and anxiety.

The decision is yours, if you are ready to wise up to wealth in all areas of your life, then stop procrastinating and get started with your goals, now.

Seek a mentor to help develop faith in yourself which is a key to helping you overcome your obstacles.
