Just a Souvenir

One type of wedding token is an object which bears the wedding details and/or the couple's picture together. This object is can be in the shape of a dove, a bell or a basket. It could be a figurine of a couple, a candle, a candle holder, or anything that the bride and groom might fancy. Then they could have their names and the wedding date and place engraved on it or have a card bearing the wedding details tied to it with a colorful ribbon. Others personalize their tokens by putting their picture on one area or surface of the token so they could be displayed in the recipient's house as a remembrance of some sort.

Also, couples can now preserve the memories in a CD or DVD. Each guest could be given a copy after the wedding. It could also be prepared while the wedding is on-going. With the current level of technology, this is more than possible. Guests will no longer have to wait long to get their copies of the wedding pictures and video clips as they could be reproduced while the wedding ceremony itself unfolds before their very eyes.

Really Useful

Some couples choose to give tokens that the recipients may find useful such as calendars, magnets, pens, notepads, stationary, desk clocks, paper weight, letter opener, a set of coasters, or anything that a person could use in their daily life, again with touches of the wedding details on them. This time, the wedding favors are not only good as decorations but they could be of some use to the wedding guest.

Yummy Wedding Favors

Some couples decide to give their wedding guests a taste of the wedding to bring home. They give their guests special chocolate rolls or miniature wedding cakes. Some give out fruit marzipans or medium-sized bottles of wine. The object of such wedding favors is not so much as to make their guests remember the wedding but to give them something to eat in their hotel rooms afterwards.

There are a lot of things that can make the ideal wedding favor by which couples can thank their guests. The bride and the groom need only use a bit of creativity and imagination and they can certainly give their guests a worthy wedding favor.
