A bridal shower is a fun and exciting party that members of your bridal party will throw for the bride to be. If you want different members of the bridal party can help pitch in towards the some of the odds and ends of the party planning. Bridal showers are very fun and it is nice to have all the women together that are close to the bride.

At a bridal shower, you can set a theme to the shower. If you know what the theme of the wedding is then you can make the bridal shower around the same theme.

If you are making the food or having it catered in then you will want to make sure it is something that your guests will enjoy. If you know what foods, they like then you are set. If you are not sure of the foods, the guests like then try having a mix of different foods. This way everyone has a variety to choose from. Along with not only the meal but you will want meat and chesses trays or veggie trays out for the guests during the party for something to snack on.

You are going want to plan out fun and exciting games to play at the bridal shower. Plan your games around the guests. There are many types of games you can play. You can nasty dirty games or nice friendly games. This all depends on the kind of guests you have at the party.

If you have games at your bridal shower then you are going to need prizes. You can get things like candles, bath sets, pound cakes, address books, notepads, key chains, photo frames and things like that. Have the amount of prizes for the amount of games you play and the amount of how many times someone can win. If you want, you can have a few extra gifts just in case someone does not win any games at all. That way everyone gets a prize.

The next fun thing for the bride is opening the gifts that the guests have brought. Now many bridal showers can consist of some naughty types of gifts for the bride. These are mainly the kind of gifts to be used on the wedding night or honeymoon. Other gifts can be things such as towels, household items, and gift cards.

When the guests are leaving, you can make up gift bags for the guests to have at the end of the bridal shower. This is a nice way to tell them thank you for coming and then they feel appreciated that they were there. These can have little things like bath soaps, lotions, bath beads or you can have things like coffee packets, coffee mugs, and other things like that.

Bridal showers are a very fun party to put on for the bride to be. So if you are hosting a party for a friend that is getting married then make sure to plan everything out just right so you make sure all the guests have a fun time and really enjoy themselves.
