Canadian Access to Information Act

Canada has modeled their Access to Information Act after the United States Freedom of Information Act. Although when you look at the Canadian Access to Information Act you see that there are way too many exemptions and some of these exemptions are so vague that really there is no access to information at all if the bureaucrats decide not to give it out. Pretty sneaky plan indeed.

In fact, the Canadian Access to Information Act is in name only but that shouldn't surprise us considering some of the other hypocrisy we see in the socialist state of Canada. For instance Canada will not come clean on the number of trees that they are cutting down and the clear cutting they are doing, yet at the same time they wish to be considered good stewards of their environment. How can this be? Should they be shamed into a reality check by the rest of the free world?

It is amazing that Canadians lambaste the United States of America on the global warming issue and yet are cutting down millions of trees, especially considering if the global warming issue is real then it is time that the world plant about five to 10 billion trees. Shouldn't that Canadians look in their own mere before giving the United States of America a hard time? Why won't they make this information more public?

In a Canadian Access to Information Act, they state that they wish to strengthen access to information in the government and outline various exemptions to be removed from access to information for the public, but in reality their attempt to copy the United States Freedom of Information Act, is a basically a sham in my opinion.

Federal Accountability Act of April 2006 also somewhat problematic for a runaway spending Socialist Republic, as they will need to hide their tracks soon and their failures as well. Can Canada survive the truth?

It might be wise for the Canadians to thaw out a little bit so they can get the blood flowing in their brains to see that their complaints are nothing but hot air. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007.
