Energy Medicine - Clearing Your Energies - Affirmatins and Gratitude

Develop a 5-minute practice twice daily for clearing your energies. Envision yourself being in the flow, your flow. Concentrate your mind to scan your bodymind and release any tension with your breath. This simple practice will enhance your ability to focus and manage your energy system.

You will release stress and reprogram your habits of mind, or attitudes. Engaging your body daily through various forms of movement and exercise will further enhance your ability to focus and help establish new, healthier emotional patterns. There are many techniques you can use; the following are only a few suggestions:

1. Daily Affirmations. First thing in the morning on rising begin by affirming your intention for the day.

An example of an affirmation I've used with outstanding results is, "I love life," or "I love you," while gently tapping the center of your chest. This stimulates your Thymus gland and supports your immune response and feelings of self love.

Remember for affirmations to be effective they must be phrased in the present tense, be positive, and personal.

2. Give thanks. Nurturing your attitude of gratefulness is all important. Naming all the things you are grateful for will multiply your results. An example might be, "I am grateful to be alive." The law of concentration states that whatever you focus on will manifest.
